Meet muralist Angie Jerez, , one of the artists bringing new work to Midvale Main Street during the 2026 Los Muros on Main: Midvale City Mural Festival.

Originally from Bogotá, Colombia and now based in Atlanta, Angie Jerez creates murals and illustrations inspired by the unexpected beauty found in urban spaces. Her work combines detailed linework with organic shapes, often exploring the places where nature quietly reclaims the built environment.

Watch Angie and other artists paint live throughout the week of June 8–12, leading up to the festival on Saturday, June 13 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Midvale Main Arts & Culture District.

The festival features live mural painting, local artists and vendors, food trucks, live music, and a beer garden, all surrounded by Midvale’s ever-evolving outdoor mural gallery.

Volunteers play a huge role in bringing this colorful community event to life along Midvale Main. Whether you enjoy helping guests, supporting artists and vendors, or being part of event setup and behind-the-scenes action, we have a spot for you.

Current Volunteer Opportunities (18+):

Vendors & Food Truck Check-In
2:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Help direct vendors and food trucks to their assigned locations and assist with check-in logistics.

Festival Setup & General Support
1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Assist with setup including shade tents, tables, chairs, signage, and other event prep.

Festival General Support
4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Help guests navigate the festival, answer questions, and hand out event information.

Festival General Support & Take-Down
7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Assist festival guests during the event, then help with cleanup and takedown at the end of the night.

This is a fun opportunity to support local art, meet new people, and be part of one of Midvale’s most vibrant events of the year.

🎨 Meet the Artists of Los Muros on Main 🎨

We’re excited to welcome muralist Sophy Tuttle ( ) to Los Muros on Main: Midvale City Mural Festival on Saturday, June 13 from 4–9 p.m.

Sophy is an English-born American muralist, painter, and installation artist whose work celebrates nature and our deep connection to it. She began painting murals in Oaxaca, Mexico in 2013 while collaborating with local artists and activists. Since then, her work has been featured nationally and internationally in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, and England.

She holds a BFA in Illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from the University of Hartford. Sophy is also the recipient of three National Mural Awards (2023, 2025, and 2026).

Come watch Sophy and other nationally recognized muralists transform Midvale Main Street into a vibrant, ever-evolving outdoor gallery experience.

Meet Mandi Caskey, .birdy, one of the featured artists for the 2026 Los Muros on Main mural festival in Midvale’s Arts & Culture District. 🎨

Known for her bold, emotionally charged murals, Mandi creates work that blends feminine strength, mythology, and surrealism. Her large-scale pieces often interact with the architecture and texture around them, creating artwork that feels both powerful and timeless.

Through her work, she explores themes of transformation, identity, and resilience, bringing stories to life on walls across communities.

You’ll be able to watch Mandi paint live during Los Muros on Main on Saturday, June 13, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Upcoming Road Closures & Work

We have several construction activities scheduled over the next few weeks. Please plan ahead, allow extra travel time, and use alternate routes when possible.

Key closure to know:
Main Street will be CLOSED between Center Street and 1st Avenue on May 4–5 for manhole installation

Week of April 27 – May 1
• Pipe installation along 4th Avenue
• Misc. asphalt restoration in the Avenues

Week of May 4 – 8
• Misc. asphalt restoration in the Avenues
• Manhole installation on Main Street (Center to 1st Ave) – May 4–5

Shane Grammer is a public muralist known for creating large-scale works that carry meaning, story, and presence. Blending realism with street art, his murals transform walls into powerful visual experiences that connect people, inspire communities, and leave a lasting impact.
