Wow can’t believe how many years it’s been since I made this one. Time flies when ur having fun!

I’ve been there before, when it felt like nothing was coming together and just wanted to give up - but I stuck with it and seemingly out of the blue things turned around.

There’s times when you think you’re headed to a dead-end but you’re actually getting closer to that “YES” moment! Don’t quit now—you’re likely closer than you think you are! 🎹

I can’t tell you how much time I use to waste in the studio fiddling around with bass levels to get them to sit correctly in the mix - especially when going through tons of presets or samples one after the other when they are all at different levels. I may have ignored a potentially amazing bass just because it didn’t sit right in the mix when auditioned.

Now I use this Bass Control rack which solves this problem. It’s a utility that instantly anchors any bass—no matter how loud or quiet—to around the -12 dB mark.�
