Slava Set, ready to become part of the permanent museum collection of the Museum of Miami! 😊

For an artist, there are few greater honors than knowing that something created with your own hands will become part of a museum collection and continue to tell its story to people and generations to come.

Some things we create with our hands, some we create with our hearts, and some remain as a trace of where we came from. ❤️

Slavski set, uskoro deo stalne muzejske postavke u Museum of Miami! 😊

Wonderful news! 😊

My sculpture, Slavska pogaca, created as part of the Slavski set, will become part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Miami.

I’m especially happy to have returned to creating three-dimensional artwork after quite some time, and excited to continue this project by using the traditional techniques of glass engraving and gilding to bring two more essential symbols of the Serbian Slava to life.

I truly look forward to completing this project and to the opportunity to preserve and share a meaningful part of our tradition through art. 😊

Divne vesti! 😊

Skulptura Slavska pogaca, kao deo Slavskog seta, bice uvrstena u stalnu postavku muzeja Museum of Miami.

Drago mi je sto sam se, nakon duzeg vremena, vratila stvaranju trodimenzionalnog umetnickog dela i sto imam priliku da tradicionalnom tehnikom gravure i pozlate docaram jos dva neizostavna simbola slave.

Veoma se radujem nastavku ovog projekta i prilici da kroz umetnost sacuvam i predstavim deo nase tradicije. 😊
