A statement piece can either make or break a room in your home. I’ve seen it do both. (You’ll just have to trust me on this one.) So, how do you make the right statement and avoid the wrong one?
Here are a few rules to keep in mind:
Rule #1 - Give the piece room to breathe, but balance it out with complementary items.
Rule #2 - There’s no such thing as a half-hearted statement piece, so don’t be afraid to go big and bold.
Rule #3 - Color is powerful, so make sure you choose your statement piece before you decide on a color scheme for the room. Matching isn’t necessary, but unity is.
