Oh dear... tillier of the year award goes to this guy. - Customer been gaslighted about the circled tile 'Needs to be like that to get condensation out' - I've seen some p**s poor tiling jobs in my life but this is probably the worst. - Why? - Just give it up mate and stop ruining peoples homes.

I installed this trench drain right outside the garage because water kept pooling every time it rained hard. I built a wooden frame, poured the concrete, and set the drain channel right in the middle. It’s connected to a PVC pipe underneath that redirects water away from the foundation. Took some effort, but now the garage stays dry and the whole area looks cleaner and more finished. Totally worth the DIY.

I paid $6,900 and I’m about to post this with ‘rate my contractor’ because if this stays two-tone forever, I want opinions BEFORE the check clears. The finish looks clean, but the mismatch and that hard transition line make it look like a quick patch, not a proper upgrade. Be real: would you let it ride and hope it fades, or would you call them back and ask why they didn’t pour a full matching section so it doesn’t look like a driveway scar?

Collar ties-HELP. I just had my roof vaulted and I’m worried everything is fine with it. Can someone help me out to make sure everything is correctly done with the new collar ties. I don’t want my ceiling to collapse over time. The room is 18 feet X 13 feet.
