Amazing the number of vineyards to be found in unlikely places! Colorado has some beautiful vineyards and delicious unpretentious wines in Paradise! Further west, check out the Rogue River Valley area of southwest Oregon! Tasting our way through our road trip has been deliciously enlightening!

Exploring Mexican wine in San Miguel de Allende! Delectable wines with careful and innovative techniques! If you get a chance, travel to this lovely UNESCO heritage site and enjoy visiting unassuming wineries with spectacular vistas and beautiful wines!

Happy Thursday! Enjoy a moment to regroup after the last few days of rain! No news for Vinos in the Grove, but happy to suggest you check out the amazing wine selections at Happy Wine on Bird Ave ! Their food is delicious and the laid back “Grovey-atmosphere” is perfect! Looking for suggestions for tastings a bit North, follow Eric Anders for spectacular wines and experiences! Cheers!

And so the new dreams begin…bud break on the vines here in Alentejo, Portugal! The budding of the vines is a signal of the magic to come! Portugal is gorgeous and their wines easy to drink and so friendly on the palate! If you haven’t had a chance to try Portuguese wines… get out there and enjoy!

Gorgeous sunset over the bay this evening! Vinos may be physically closed (sad not to be able to offer refreshing Sangrias during this Art Festival weekend!) but we will stay live with wine thoughts and life in the Grove photos until we find our way back! Until then…Salud!

It’s our “last hurrah” here at Vinos in the Grove! Come share this gorgeous Sunday afternoon on our patio celebrating the joy of wine and good company! Norby Rudel will be playing from 6:30-9:00 pm…so let “the good times roll” until we meet again!

Congratulations to all who participated in today’s Marathon and Half Marathon, with a special shout out to our Sunday musician Norby Rudel! Those runners should stop by Vinos in the Grove between 4:30 and 6 pm for a free glass of Rose Sangria! You deserve to celebrate your accomplishment!
