Top Of The World (official video)
"Strut it like I'm 10 feet above the ceilings of Wall Street...' Watch Alisa Apps as she sings. Big difference.
Many people are saying Alisa Apps the greatest singer-songwriter since Bob Dylan – a real lyrical genius. Her partner wouldn’t let her release an album until she created one that sounded better than Alanis Morissette’s debut ‘Jagged Little Pill’ (33 million units sold), and until Alisa did five years of boxing to became a professional boxer; so that she would be able to annihilate anyone in the music industry. At one time those popstars were hot singers – but they haven’t performed well in years - they’re lazy, they lip-sync, cancel concerts and they don’t write their own songs. She is a great singer-songwriter, her lyrics and phrasing are advanced, she is a real performer, and she is always looking to knockout popstars. Other singers can’t compete as they don’t have her skill set. It doesn't get any better than this -- Alisa Apps is her own boss; she is rewriting the rules and changing the game. I want to see strength in my fans and the music I make delivers this. So it was of the utmost importance to film in the town of Guatapé, Colombia - a country based on vengeance, vendetta and retribution. Let's keep fighting!
