📌What is a mommy pooch?

Often it’s weakened deep core muscles or diastasis recti after pregnancy — not just belly fat

The fix isn’t crunches… it’s retraining your core from the inside out

Start with these foundations:

✨Diaphragmatic breathing to reconnect core + pelvic floor
✨Table-top breathing to learn proper engagement
✨Heel taps to build control (not just strength!)
✨Glute bridges to support your core through hip + glute strength

Extra tips:

✅Focus on slow, controlled movement — speed hides weakness
✅Watch for coning or doming along the midline (a sign to regress)
✅Exhale on effort — this helps your deep core fire correctly
✅Consistency > intensity. 5–10 minutes a day beats a long workout once a week
✅Don’t forget posture habits — how you stand and lift throughout the day matters just as much as the exercises
