The Bible contrasts those who trust in God with those who rely on themselves. Just as a tree planted by water thrives, a person connected to God grows, remains strong, and bears fruit.

To flourish spiritually:

* Be planted — stay rooted in a local church where you can grow and be supported.
* Don’t be easily uprooted — constant instability (like “church hopping”) prevents growth.
* Endure seasons — remain faithful through challenges and storms instead of giving up.

Ultimately, flourishing comes from staying connected to God, the source of life. When we are firmly planted in Him, we will grow, thrive, and live a blessed life.
