Last year was better! 😂

While Spotify Wrapped is that time of the year when most artists tap on their shoulders and congratulate themselves for everything we’ve achieved so far, blablabla [insert more crap here], for me, it’s a time for reflection and introspection. It’s that time when I look at the things I could have done better and fix them the year after.

So here are 4 things I learned in 2024:

1. In 2023, I had 510K+ streams and 120K+ listeners. That was mostly attributable to “Cara De Angel,” which was low-key a mini-hit song. I did not drop such a song this year. I need to work on that.

2. More music needs to come out. This year I tapped at 5 songs, not different from the previous one. However, in order to allow myself to explore, fail and learn more, more music needs to come out more frequently. I already have a list of 8 new songs that are recorded, mixed, mastered and ready to go. So buckle up!

3. My social media content doesn't resonate with the audience I’m interested in. Next year will be a huge page turn from this aspect. I have a few ideas in my head, which I won’t spoil, but expect change.

4. And last, but not least, IDENTITY. Over the last year, I’ve distanced myself from who I really am in an attempt to please others. That doesn’t work, and frankly I fu***ng hate it. It took me some time to understand that I needed to find a way back to myself, but eventually I did. I am a rapper. I write really personal, intimate, introspective, sad and dope s**t. And I can do this in more than just 1 language. This is what you’ll get from me. Art without compromise. Don’t like it? Don’t give a s**t.
