Wearing pink today for October Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to honor all the women who had to endure this battle. Please know, you are in charge. Ask, strategize, insist on what YOU want. I had many mammograms, always "Hmm come back for an ultrasound." Nothing. All clear. I had family history... Both my mother and grandmother had left side breast cancer. I did not have a positive BRACCA a gene. I got a Thermogram at my Integrative MD's office for fun. Pretty colors, with spots of red, orange, yellow on both breasts. I saw a breast surgeon, said "Don't laugh, it's alternative yes, and not a mammogram, but it does show something." He offered me an MRI. I had multiple precancer "Hypoplasia" masses. Surgery. Then I had yearly follow up MRIs. Third year, bright light on MRI, and there it was, Stage 0 Breast Cancer. I wanted mastectomies. My surgeon said, "Not necessary. So small, we already got it. Surgery is too painful. Take pills and follow up with radiation." I obliged. After that I saw an oncologist who said, "Wow, You're really high risk!" (Where was this conversation beforehand?) radiation numbed and tightened my skin, the pills made me sick, two years later a new female breast surgeon said "Why didn't you get what you wanted? You're very high risk!" Next, double mastectomies, plastic surgery, move to another state to a better plastic surgeon who said " I Don't cut into the muscle, too painful, this guy went too deep." (Always get a second opinion.) Two surgeries later with 2 years in between to relax the skin and heal, wa-la! I'm all remodeled fit and healthy! Ask, learn, decide. In the meantime, get checked. 🩷

I can't believe it's been 11 years since I filmed "Stalked by a Ghost". I was hired as a "ghost whisperer" to understand why these ghosts were still hanging around. It was a lot of fun, we flew to different cities & even though it was a Ghost show, it was not scary at all. Most of these earthbound spirits were frustrated because they never got to tell their side of the story. Angels & Divine Spirit relayed their backstory to me. I didn't talk directly to the ghosts but I could feel their anguish, anger & frustration. Once I shared their pain, their insistent & annoying "need to be heard" dissapated.
