The true meaning of Christmas is that Jesus came into the world and was born as a human. But he was in fact God in the flesh. He lived a perfect life and did nothing but great things. He proved he was God with the miracles he did, but that wasn't the point of him coming to earth. It was because we are all sinners in need of a savior. We have all sinned against God and we are the natural born enemies of God. We are all guilty and deserve Hell, if we are truly honest with ourselves. But God loved us so much that he sent Jesus to pay the price for our sins. He died on the cross in my place and in your place so that our sins could be paid for and we could inherit eternal life. When Jesus died on the cross, he took ALL your sins upon him and paid for them in full, past present and future. He also did that for the entire world. Then he rose again in 3 days proving that he was God. All you need to do is put your trust in him and have faith, and God will save you. It's really that simple (No religion). Pray something like this: "God I know I'm a sinner and I can't make it to Heaven by my good works. I admit that I deserve Hell. But I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again from the grave. I want Jesus to be my savior and I'm trusting in him alone to save me and take me to Heaven when I die." If you prayed this prayer God promises he will save you. Your sins will be nailed to the cross of Christ and you will get his righteousness in return. You will now be a child of God, and you can never lose your salvation no matter what. This is the greatest decision you can ever make in your life. God is knocking at the door of your heart. If you say no, today, you may not have tomorrow. Merry Christmas to all and God bless!
