Fun fact about dogs in shelters...
Often, people think they can only find purebred dogs through breeders, but that isn't true.
DoSomething.org notes that a staggering 25 percent of all dogs in animal shelters are actually purebred!

If you want a dog that's truly one of a kind, then the shelter is the place to go. According to one study of over 900 pups published in PLoS ONE, the average shelter mutt is a mix of three different breeds! How fun is that!? Our rescue (pictured here) is 8 different breeds and look how adorable he is!
