Healthy Eating, Travel & Finding Balance 🌿✈️🍽️

What does healthy eating really look like when you love food, love to travel, and don’t believe in giving up the things you enjoy? 🤔

I had such a fun conversation with Mel about exactly that!

I shared a little about my journey from nutritionist to health and wellness coach, and how much my upbringing shaped my relationship with food. Growing up in Hong Kong with my sisters, my mom cooked fresh meals for us every day and taught us from an early age to appreciate good, wholesome food. Those habits have stayed with me to this day. ❤️

We also chatted about finding balance when life gets busy, eating out, traveling, enjoying the occasional indulgence, and making healthier choices without turning food into a list of “good” and “bad” foods.

Because I truly believe healthy eating should be enjoyable! It’s not about being perfect. It’s about finding an approach that works for *your* life and that you can actually stick with.

Long Weekend Reminder ☀️🧠

Memorial Day weekend is here ✈️🍹🌴

Enjoy the celebrations, the food, the time with friends, and the slower pace, but don’t completely disconnect from the habits that help you feel good.

It’s still Mental Health Awareness Month, and your nervous system notices everything… the lack of sleep, nonstop plans, stress, alcohol, screens, and constant stimulation.

A little mindfulness goes a long way.

Move your body.
Drink your water.
Get outside.
Take a breather when you need one.
Protect your energy too.

You can have fun this weekend and still stay connected to your health intentions. Balance always feels better than burnout.

Wishing you all a fabulous Memorial Day Weekend 🇺🇸💛🇺🇸

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

Mental well-being often gets pushed to the side because people tend to focus more on physical health. We notice headaches, exhaustion, or getting sick quickly, but stress, overwhelm, emotional fatigue, and mental burnout are easier to ignore until they start affecting daily life.

Modern life does not exactly help. Busy schedules, endless notifications, poor sleep, digital overload, and constantly being “on” can quietly impact mood, focus, patience, energy, and overall wellbeing.

Stress does not always show up dramatically. Sometimes, it looks like brain fog, irritability, difficulty concentrating, low motivation, disrupted sleep, or feeling mentally drained for no obvious reason.

The good news is that supporting mental well-being does not have to be complicated. Small daily habits such as movement, quality sleep, fresh air, downtime, and creating moments of calm can make a bigger difference than people realize over time.

A new blog post on stress management is now up on my website with practical, realistic strategies to support well-being in everyday life, check it out. 💚
