🚨🚨fishing report 6/10/26 🚨🚨

Weather was absolutely gorgeous all day!! Waves were around a foot but there wasn't much wind, making it super hot...

Today I had one of my best friends from my home town and his girlfriend! I haven't been in the best place lately but spending time with my people always bring my spirits up! We ran out between 30-50 miles today and had such a great day. I had doob fish instead of work today so we could keep a few extra fish and we tore it up! We ended up with our limit of red grouper, a scamp, 4 red snappers, almacos, lanes and mangs! I can't say enough good things about today, good company, good fishing and good weather. Overall it was another great day for the Anglers!

🚨🚨 fishing report 6/9/26 🚨🚨

Weather was so nice all day! Waves were around a foot or so and it was breezy so it wasn't too hot.

Today was a seriously long day.. two 6 hour trips with only 30 mins in between trips.
This morning was an awesome group from Michigan and we had fun! I ran this trip and we started off bottom fishing and as we were loading up with lunch in the distance I seen a ton of frigate birds going crazy, it was driving me nuts watching them so after I got a bucket of eaters we sent it over to them and boy did we have an epic hour of chasing a bait ball with sharks, mackerels and Bonitas! Everytime a bait touched the water it instantly got smoked. We ended up with grunts, porgies, Bonitas, mackerel, cudas and a few other randoms and then headed in to prepare for the next trip!

My afternoon trip was equally as great. Seth, his wife and 2 kiddos hopped on and only requested to catch fish and have fun which is my absolute favorite. Doob ran this one and we had a great time. We bottom fished for a bit and then I convinced Doob to hit the ol home base where we messed around with cudas, sharks and jacks and it was an insane bite! This whole group had a great time!
Overall it was another awesome day for the Anglers and a tiring one for Doob and I but we made it happen!

🚨🚨 fishing report 6/8/26 🚨🚨

Weather was really nice compared to the last couple trips! Waves were a little over a foot and we had a little breeze still, making for a comfortable day.

Today we had a really cool group with an awesome son that was ate up with the fishing which is one of my favorite parts about this path I chose because we started out as a kid who loved fishing! He was so excited for this trip and I think we crushed his expectations in a really good way! Today was also kind of a weird day... for some reason it almost felt like the beginning of the end for me and like I was going back to the beginning but with doob instead of Tyler. Today when I pulled out of the slip I looked at doob and told him "you got this one" and then moved out of the seat and had him be the captain, which is going to be something that happens a lot more to prepare him for what's to come. He absolutely crushed it on this 4 hour! He found an area he wanted to go and then found his own spots, I obviously helped him with the crew but this one was all him and I'm super proud. In the two stops he made we caught a ton of red groupers, a bucket full of grunts and porgies and a bunch of puffers making for a fun day for this crew who had never been on a charter. Overall it was another great day for the Anglers and a humbling day for me!

🚨🚨 fishing report 6/7/26 🚨🚨

Weather sucked again on the way out and the last few miles on the way in but was absolutely beautiful offshore towards the end of the trip! Waves were anywhere from 1.5-5ft and it was blowing pretty good for most of the day.

Today we had Billy, his triplets which I've never had 3 identical twins on the boat, his brother-in-law and his nephew and i absolutely loved this group, enough that I will probably go out and hunt with them later in the year to fulfill one of my bucket list items! Billy and I had been talking for a while and he wanted to catch fish that would "wear the boys out" so I took them to one of my favorite spots that I haven't been to in a long time and we caught probably 20 amberjacks over a couple hour period! After that we decided to push out and get some meat and ended up with an insane variety of fish... we caught red grouper, a keeper scamp grouper, grasby grouper, red snapper, mangrove snapper, yellowtail snapper, lane snapper, vermilion snapper, a nice Almaco jack and soon got a mahi on the jig! Overall It was an awesome day for the Anglers and I cannot say enough good things about these kids and this family, I had a great trip other than the weather!

🚨🚨 fishing report 6/6/26 🚨🚨

Weather absolutely sucked bad until the end of the day... waves were a solid 2-3 foot with the occasional 5-6 foot roller.

Today I had a really awesome group but tbh I don't do this often and I'm not too proud to admit I probably made the wrong call... there was probably a lot of boats that did not send it like I did today but πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. We fished this 10 hr inside of 40 miles but took an absolute whooping. BUT we smoked the fish! We ended up with our limit of pretty solid red grouper, a bunch of grunts, lanes, vermillions, a mangrove and a really nice triple tail! My back, legs and neck hurt but we made lemonade out of lemons and I couldn't be happier about how this trip went with how the weather was! Overall it was another great day for the Anglers!

🚨🚨 fishing report 6/5/26 🚨🚨

The weather really sucked and then it was really nice! Waves were around 2.5-3 ft and then by the end of the trip it laid down nicely!

Today we had an awesome group from West Virginia! This group goes fishing every time they come down south and decided to choose me this time! We started off catching dinner at 11 miles and ended up with a bucket of grunts, porgies, puffers, red groupers and a little mangrove snapper and then I thought to myself "I wish I could find some baits"... I asked and I received I looked around for a few and found a pile of birds, loaded up on baits and then we set out on a bigger fish mission! We bump trolled for a while with no luck and then it was like a light switch flipped and we started whacking cudas! Everyone on the boat got one before we headed in and had a really nice ride home. Overall it was another great day for the Anglers!

🚨🚨 fishing report 5/31/26-6/1/26 🚨🚨

Weather was as good as we could ask for! It was a little bumpy on the way out but the whole ride in was smooth because we rode a following sea all the way home!

This was one of those last minute things which always kind of stress me out... but, I thrive in these type of situations! We were supposed to leave this morning and ended up leaving last night to catch a bit of the full moon snapper bite and it worked out as good as any of my other full moon trips! Aaron and Doug flew in and instead of spending the night in their hotel room we decided last minute that they would be spending the night on the boat instead! We gathered the rest of the crew that was going to come with us and left the dock around 7 something last night, due to unfortunate circumstances on the beach everyone was a little bit late. But, that was okay because certain things are out of our control. We started off at the fun trip mango spot which sucked but it had gave me time to grill up some burgers and hotdogs for the boys atleast... so I decided to go a bit further offshore to something I had scouted a month or so ago and absolutely SMOKED the snappers! We tore up the mangrove and yellowtail snapper and had a few red snapper mixed in that we were able to keep because they opened up at 12am and we also had caught quite a few lanes. These fish were chewing their faces off, it didn't matter whether we were throwing bait or jigs because everything was getting eaten! Overall it was another Fu($:&g EPIC overnight trip for the Anglers and I also had an awesome time with the team!
Also, before the trip started I gave Aaron something that I was so excited to give him! If you know Aaron and I's relationship you know that man means a great deal to me, had he not came into my life I'd probably be back doing construction and never have truly made my dreams come true regardless of how hard I tried before I met him... I always tell him there's no way I'll ever be able to repay him for what he's done for me. BUT... if you know Aaron next to family/friends and maybe me Dave Matthew's is one of his favorite people. I was lucky enough to find a autographed poster!

🚨🚨 fishing report 5/29/26 🚨🚨

Weather was super nice today! There was a little wind and a little bit of a swell but overall it was perfect.

Today we had a family from Minnesota and they were honestly one of my favorite new groups I've had in a little bit! The parents were a little older than me and the kids were all so good and respectful and we all had a great time! The game plan was to go out and catch a decent variety of fish and enough for lunch and we checked both those boxes on this one. We fished around 15 miles and only made two stops. The first was a dud which tbh I kind of like when that happens because when we hit the second one it was non stop action and they aren't really expecting it. We caught a ton of grunts, a nice porgy, a bunch of trigger fish, some red groupers, a few puffers which are always the kids favorites and then went to try and catch a cuda... as soon as we put lines in we had one on that got off and the last 20 mins were spent trying to get a bite that never came but it's okay because we already had an awesome time bottom fishing! Overall it was another great day for the Anglers!

🚨🚨 fishing report 5/28/26 🚨🚨

Weather was absolutely beautiful for the first time in a while! Waves were about a foot and a half swell and it was breezy enough that we weren't cooking!

Today I had the Potts family which is genuinely one of my favorite families I get to take fishing year after year! Jordan always plans these trips ahead and I always look forward to them. Three and a half years ago I met this family walking the dock after their charter canceled on them the night before and they have been like family to me ever since. Not only have Jordan missy and I created an awesome bond but their kids have become a staple in my life since then! Today we took Jp out fishing and I asked him " what do you want to catch " and he responded " atleast one fish " which is honestly my favorite thing, this kid doesn't care what or how much he catches he just loves to have a good time with us no matter what we do! We went out and caught a ton of red and gag groupers, a bunch of grunts and some nice mangrove snapper and then we all went up to saltcracker and had an awesome dinner together! Overall it was another great day for the Anglers and also one of those days that remind me why exactly I started doing this in the first place!
