Teachers had fun learning about circuits during our Community of Practice last week! These educators had a demo on circuits by STEM Library Lab's Librarian Szabi! Our Communities of Practice offer an opportunity for educators to learn about the different items they can borrow for free, 2-weeks lending period, at the Equipment Lending Co-Op!

Service Learning Program's 2026-2027 Awards Reception! 138 Service Projects, our BIGGEST roster yet with 70 schools, and drum roll please... an estimated 8,000 students will complete a minimum of 32,000 hours of service! The STEM Library Lab recognized teachers who received grants to carry out their service-learning projects. For the 2026-27 academic year, teachers in Louisiana and Mississippi received over $350,000 in grants, generously funded by the Joe W. and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation

STEM Library Lab recognized the teachers who received grants to carry out their service learning projects. For the 2026–27 academic year, teachers in Louisiana and Mississippi received more than $350,000 in grants. The Service Learning Program is generously funded by the Joe W. and Dorothy Dorsett Brown Foundation.

Today, we are celebrating the Pixley Hill Foundation whose generosity helps make our work at STEM Library Lab possible.

Their family-led foundation supports our vision of providing resources and opportunities to those who need them the most but may not have access. We are so grateful for that.

We just had our Robotics Meet-Up Fair! Our Meet-Up Fairs serve as an in-person version of our EdOpportunities Database. Educators connected with organizations and learned about the different resources offered to educators/students. Go to EdOpportunities.org to learn more. We had our own Teacher Free-Store table, where Blair held a raffle to give away 3D printers and robotic kits!
