Another copy. We left it with .125mm over size on the outer surface for hand sanding. Slightly more grain and pattern expression than the original with darker color highlights.

This custom stock began with high-resolution 3D scanning of the original component, allowing us to capture every critical contour, fit surface, and geometry before reengineering the design in a premium burled black walnut. The new stock was then machined from a single solid block of wood using CNC technology, preserving strength while creating a one-of-a-kind finish that highlights the natural grain and character of the material. By combining digital archiving, reverse engineering, and precision manufacturing, we’re able to reproduce, restore, or completely reimagine parts with materials and aesthetics that elevate the final product beyond the original.
