I bought the first version of this tree that is only purple. It is on my covered porch every Halloween. I love the way it lights up and think it is a great addition to my display.

So I've been looking for this since I saw him at the preview event I went to early July. My stores wouldn't sell him until MET setup. Every year that's their stance so I didn't even ask this year. So when it was finally time and the stores were set up..... GONE. Well I checked as much as I could with no luck. Well my wife and I are driving the Oregon Coast this week for vacation and we stopped at every The Home Depot we could find. About the 6th one we saw my wife asked if I wanted to stop. I told my wife no that's OK. Let's keep driving and get to our Airbnb. So the following morning my sister drove up to see me and we were on our way to the goonies house in Astoria and drove past that same home depot I passed the day before. I asked my sister, "have you seen their Halloween decorations yet? " she said no so we went. Nothing was on display for the spiders but I check shelves like the next guy and I spotted a box that was the right size. I read the the description..... did a double take when my heart skipped a beat. I finally found one. I took it down and purchased with a huge grin on my face.

I tell my story because some folks think we get special privileges when it comes to purchasing these items. I have to fight the masses just like everyone else, which makes the grind and rewards that much more exciting.
