Quick Prints imaging lab and custom frames
We print every image personally--no auto printing, we scan and restore old photos.
We don't sell cameras, but we can help with your questions and with a quality end-product from you cameras--film, digital and cell.
Yes, I realize many of you think we went out of business--and it could possibly be because we are so hard to find because we are NOT on 23rd Ave. but in the basement of that building on the back parking lot. We are saying busy with restorations, but I will be 87 tomorrow! If you are still looking for those photos you plan to bring for restoration, you might want to speed up the search! ;)
The photo lab printer was "down" half the month of July, but we are again printing and even seeing new customers. We had a hefty repair invoice, but we have been blessed in that a lot of former customers have discovered we are still in business in the basement of Insurance Solutions. Our lab is old, and the next "fix" will be $12,000; so if you are still "planning" to bring those old photos to be restored, PLEASE start looking now and get them to me. I know "word-of-mouth" works, so tell your friends of the miracles available at Quick Prints. The lab will be closed Friday and Monday of Labor Day week-end--and I still say, "Call before you come." Just in case!!!!
I had a fabulous trip to D.C. with NFIB last week and was privileged to hear Speaker Mike Johnson speak at our dinner. After visits to offices of senators and congressmen, I am encouraged by our input into Small Business issues in the BBB. A fall at home the night I got back has slowed me a little, but my regular work days are back for awhile. :) I want to thank the dear folks who have been stopping in to check on me. You definitely inspire me to keep doing the "impossible" for images.
To spark your memory, we will be open only the 19th, 21st and 28th the rest of May; and we will be closed the 9th and 11th of June (and, of course, our usual closed days of Tuesday and Thursday.) If business picks up, we may add another open day. :)
This is Small Business Week. Two out of three manufacturing companies qualify as small businesses. How Quick Prints has managed to stay in business 41 years is a miracle, and I am grateful to the One who has guided it. It was a surprise to find that NFIB has posted my history in a profile on NFIB.com. We are certainly not considered a lab success story, but quality and customer service have always been at the forefront of our longevity. We have been cleverly hidden for several years; but if you have imaging needs, feel free to call 601 485-3278 Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You might want to call before coming; because at age 86, I might take a day or two for R&R unexpectedly. :)
Our new wide-format printer is now installed and waiting for enlargement orders. After a break of several days during the holidays, we are back on our regular schedule. We have seen an upsurge of interest in the scanning and sharing of old family photos. We take particular care in re-producing these treasures, so thank you for patience on those orders.
Word is finally getting out that Quick Prints is STILL open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10-5:30. Some of our services have changed with John's absence, but we will soon be able to offer wide format printing again--hopefully in time for Christmas 11x14's and 16x20's. We are still the place to come for restorations and scans for videos. Hope to see you as we continue to serve imaging needs in our 41st year.
Quick Prints will be closed October 18th and 21st while we take some time off for John's military honor and to celebrate his life with family. We are getting into the busy time of year, so plan ahead for any special needs you have. Happy Halloween and a blessed Thanksgiving if I don't get to tell you in person. Thank you for continuing to support entry into the 41st year of Quick Prints
The phone extension at my desk died and was replaced with a totally different phone. Just when I thought I had figured out how to check voice mail and missed calls, (something John did every morning before we opened,) this new phone puzzles me. If you have left voice mail that hasn't been returned, or called on a day we are closed, please call again on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. I do want to answer questions, and I don't want you to think we are complacent about our our business.
Thank you, Jamie Thompson, for teaching this old dog some new Facebook tricks. The Thompsons have been like family to Quick Prints for over 35 years, and we appreciate you.
We will be closed Friday the 31st but open again Monday.
It helps to keep busy, and thanks for doing that for me! It may take more time to do the projects two people used to do, but we will give the same care and quality for which we are known.🥰
