Southwestern Idaho Desert Racing Association (SIDRA) is an annual points championship made up of fun SIDRA is a group of volunteers that love desert racing.
Hosted by volunteer clubs and organizations, races are generally about 100 miles through the great Idaho desert. The association consists of different clubs who put on one or two races a year. As a strictly volunteer based organization, we encourage all racers to join a club and give back. Belonging to a club also means you have a pit crew and some great team members during the race. As we pause for summer break we’d like to take a moment to say thank you to our sponsors , clubs, volunteers, racers and fans!
Clubs built courses over every kind of terrain ! The Idaho desert brought mud, sand, dust, rain and hero dirt. Test of both riders and machines, our racers were on the line ready to prove they had what it takes.
Sponsors step up to support our race series every year, their contributions directly benefit racers and clubs.
Clubs and volunteers give their time throughout the year to prep, plan, permit and participate in all that hosting a race requires.
All of these elements are required to secure the future of our sport!
