Meridian Railroad Museum

THURSDAYS at the MUSEUM
Beginning June 4th and each Thursday throughout June and July, calling children 4-10 years old. Come to the railroad museum on Thursdays, 10:30 until noon. Be part of a railroad summer, including rides on the museum’s miniature train, snacks, storytelling and artwork, “How to draw a train,” a drawing lesson conducted by museum board member, Jimmy Phillips.

All involved with Meridian Railroad Museum thank everyone who came out to last Saturday’s National Train Day. The day started with rocky weather, a few thunder storms early around 4 am but by 10 am cleared into a nice rather sunny day and you came. We thank you and our total attendees neared 250 people which included a large number of children. We are thrilled. From 2 until 4am the thunder screamed and rain pounded but yet you came to National Train Day at Meridian Railroad Museum. You, our , rail-fans make our hearts happy. Keep tuning into this FB page because big things are coming to the museum within the next months.

Thank you everyone who came to Meridian Railroad Museum today. We at the museum were nervous that the crowd would be small but instead we had a steady stream of attendees with lots of children and all ages as well. A huge thank you to our hardworking volunteers who are always up to a magical time at the museum.
