Turns out, I'm pretty good at melding the two into one! I can make cakes for any occasion: birthday, wedding, anniversary, holiday, theme party, baby shower, bachelor/bachelorette party... tell me your creative/epicurean vision and I will make it a cake reality! - 50% deposit required at booking. $50 is non-refundable, with the remaining deposit fully refunda

ble UP TO 30 DAYS PRIOR TO CAKE DELIVERY DATE should you need to cancel an order. All cakes must be paid in full 7 DAYS prior to delivery date. Late payments will be accepted AT MY DISCRETION up to 3 days prior to delivery date with an additional $50 late fee. All prices include delivery within the Treasure Valley. Delivery is available outside of the Treasure Valley for additional fees. A 10% discount will apply if you are able and willing to pick up your cake; however, CakeDonna cannot be held responsible in any way for any and all damages that could occur once the cake leaves my home.

- For now, I do not require deposits on borrowed equipment. If your cake includes equipment I have provided (reusable decorative items, displays, trays, etc.), please return these items in a timely fashion. If equipment return becomes an issue over time, I will add a refundable equipment deposit policy.

- Orders for single and two-tiered cakes must be made with at least 3 WEEKS NOTICE. Schedule permitting, I will accept orders on less than 3 weeks notice with a $25 expedited order fee. I do not keep bulk supplies on hand at all times; cakes are made to order and as such, I need adequate time to plan and acquire supplies/special equipment.

- Orders for three or more tiered cakes must be made with at least 6 WEEKS NOTICE. Schedule permitting, I will accept orders on less than 6 weeks notice with a $40 expedited order fee. Large, multi-tiered cakes require additional planning/supplies and necessitate that I plan my own family's meals to allow for an empty fridge to house your cake :)

- Particular colors and exact replication of creative vision cannot be absolutely guaranteed, but I will do everything in my artistic power to deliver a product true to your vision.

- There is no guarantee, written or implied, of the longevity of the structural integrity of a cake being displayed outdoors. Cakes are best kept cool and out of humidity. CakeDonna cannot be held liable for unforeseen damages caused by the elements should the customer choose to display the cake outdoors. This includes but is not limited to: dust, wind, plants, wildlife, precipitation, heat.

- If you have special dietary needs, I am more than happy to do my best to accommodate, but I cannot guarantee avoidance of cross contamination of any and all potential allergens including but not limited to: nuts, dairy, wheat, soy

- While the utmost precautions in proper sanitary practices will be utilized for the entire duration of the cake's preparation, the customer acknowledges that the cake will be prepared in a kitchen that has NOT been inspected and/or licensed by the State of Idaho Department of Health, and accepts the inherent risks thereof.

*Some of these policies are non-applicable to special promotions I may offer on pre-determined cake designs for holidays.

While I am not baking for the public at this time (with exceptions), I have done some work recently for friends, family, and events that I haven't yet shared :) Enjoy!

These are non-negotiable minimum price points for each type of cake design. Please do not approach me and ask me to make cakes for less. If we have a special situation, I may offer discounts at my discretion. I am but one woman in one tiny kitchen. I do not get wholesale supplies, ingredients, nor do I have any of the fancy equipment that make cake baking a cinch in commercial bakeries. Most of the intricate details you see in my cakes, I carve by hand with an Xacto Knife. All colors of fondant are hand colored and kneaded fresh by me. I do not have a fondant sheeter; I roll all my fondant by hand. I do not have kitchen staff available to clean my messes between each step in the cake process. I DO IT ALL. My borderline unhealthy obsessive attention to detail is what makes my cakes special and I GUARANTEE my cakes are worth every penny you spend. I never put less than 100% crazy Jen Perfectionism in any project I do. I value my time and talent - - it takes me between 20-45 hours of labor PER cake. Thank you for your understanding! :)

I'm officially retiring from cake making for the time being with the exception of people who may have existing gift certificates. Thank you for all the love and support over the past few years! I took a fulltime job in my field (psychology/social work) a few months ago so I haven't had much time for baking lately. But I did manage to get this cutie done this week! :)
