Home The ICL is a college summer developmental league with a minor league model.  Each team will have up to a 22 player roster and will play games 4-5 days a week in addition to having position specific practice days scheduled weekly.

He was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 26th round of this years MLB Amateur Draft and has been assigned to Great Falls, MT of the Rookie Pioneer League. Zach is a former starting pitcher for Austin Peay University and also played for me (Andy Swenson) in the Boise Collegiate Summer League as part of the Swenson Baseball Co. Outlaws. Travis Strong's last 3 outings (7/30, 8/2, 8/6) resulted in 3.2 innings pitched, 5 hits allowed, 3 earned runs allowed, 2 walks given up, and 2 strike outs. His opponent's average is .272 and his ERA is at 3.80 for the season in 23.2 innings (12 games) pitched between Aberdeen and Delmarva. Keep up the good work Travis!

Travis Strong was promoted to the South Atlantic League recently and is now pitching for the Class A Delmarva Shorebirds in the Orioles system. His last two outings (7/15 & 7/17) have been with Delmarva and he has tallied 3 innings, 3 earned runs allowed, 6 strikeouts, and 2 walks. Travis' combined ERA this summer is 3.32. Congrats on the promotion Stretch and keep grindin'!

Travis Strong's last 3 outings (6/30, 7/3, & 7/6) he has thrown 8 innings, given up 6 hits, 1 earned run, 0 walks, 4 strikeouts, collected a win 7/6 and was named player of the game, lowered his opponent's batting average to .200, and lowered his season ERA to 1.50! Great start to 2011 Travis!

Travis Strong pitched 2 innings on 6/26 allowing 1 run on 3 hits while walking 2 and striking out 2. His ERA on the 2011 New York-Penn League season sits at 2.25.
