Park workers found a goldfish in a lake. A 9-pound goldfish Parks and recreation workers in South Carolina made an extraordinary discovery during a routine water quality test at a small lake.

When your normal local fish store is closed and you do a Google search and find out there is a new store listed.

Our male Mbamba, the daddy to the 2 fry I posted before this is really coloring up nicely.

New life at the Ranch. This little guy is only about 1/8-1/4" and has been hiding for at least 2 weeks and just popped up during feeding time today. He is an Mbuna an African Cichlid the originates from Lake Malawi. LABIDOCHROMIS "MBAMBA" and yes I have sung his name to the Richie Valens tune 😀

Slowly coming together, but now it's too dang hot to work on it. Heading out to make sure noone needs water before tonight. Wish me luck.

I picked this potted Canna Lilly out at Home Depot. The blooms on it then were a deep red. After letting it attempt to seed, then cutting back the cares, this is what it has now produced.

This plant hangs on our patio, but the blooms are only open early in the day until a little after mid-day. It then pulls it's blooms in to protect them from the cold until it re-blooms the next day.

Even in the summertime there is still room for 😁
