Made our first trip to PineRidge Speedway and had a good trip. Qualified 3rd overall, ran 2nd in the heat race, and ran 2nd in the feature. We kept the winner honest for the first 10 laps but just needed a little more. Very happy with our first time on a new track and will have good notes to go back with.

As we start the points season this weekend we have to give thanks to everyone involved in our program. We haven’t ran for any points championship since 2020, when we won with the AllStar crates. Hopefully we can keep it going.

We started 7th today for the A main and managed to take this little crate car forward. Finished 3rd and was the fastest car on track over the last 3 laps. When we showed up against super late models we thought we were just testing for our crate season but we definitely had a contending car. Got hung up for a while trying to take 3rd but closed in on the leaders after we got there. Thanks to everyone that helps on this racecar. Sponsors, partners, and products we use keep us competitive. We knew bringing a crate to a super race was putting us behind the 8 ball some but we’ve made good adjustments. Looks like when we race against our own type of cars we will be competitive right off the trailer. Looking forward to tomorrow’s 20 lap feature and how far forward we can take the little motor that could.

New look for this year

I worked these guys hard this weekend without a doubt. I know ending up in victory lane makes it worth it though. 2017 XR1 on non adjustable Afco fast track shock package. They were designed as a spec shock to be cheaper and help keep guys from dialing themselves out with clicks. They’ve won 3 of 7 races and a 3rd is the worst finish the car has had in the others.
