I remember seeing George W. Bush hugging a firefighter and wanting to do my part to help and support my country and it’s people. After leaving the Marines, my life has continued in that service. One of my favorite full-circle moments was getting the chance to tell Jenna Bush Hager on the TODAY that her dad’s kindness set my life on a trajectory to help others. Out of tragedy we can find purpose and no kindness is ever wasted 🫶

One year ago - August 15th 2025 - my little friend Paiyton Parker traded her cancer for wings 🩷🪽

Not a day goes by where she doesn’t cross my mind. Not a day goes by where I don’t realize how lucky I was to know her. Her kindness and courage impacted my life. I’m so grateful for my time here on earth and my opportunities to serve.

We promise to honor her memory. We will keep showing up. Keep helping. Keeping lifting. Keep loving. Keep encouraging. Just the way Paiyton would do.
