Rescuing another kitchen remodel that was "wired" by a "remodeler". Unfortunately, some house flippers, handy men, remodelers and even land lords cut corners and do things themselves to save cost and they only call in the professionals when they are forced to by an inspection or it has gotten to the point where even they themselves can't "fix" it.

TIP. if you are looking to hire a home improvement contractor. Make sure they are insured and at least have a registered HIC # with the state and search their business or name for reviews online with the BBB and Google.

You can verify a license with the state here... https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx

TIP. No handyman or home improvement contractor is allowed by CT State law to do Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC work without a trade license and that license number shall be visible in 1 inch letters on their vehicle. Also Note, An HIC # is NOT a trade license.
