Playhouse is back this week! 🎉

We are super excited to bring Oliver! Jr. to the stage and to welcome the community back to Playhouse Merced!

Tomorrow night will be Playhouse Merced's first in-person meeting since the craziness happened. We are proud of the current board and all they have done to keep the theater going. Show your continuing support by attending and hear what's happening next.

This month's Board Meeting will be held Wednesday, Feb, 11th at 6:30pm at Playhouse Merced. The public is invited to attend and will also have an opportunity to address the Board during public comment period. Hope to see you there!

I am happy to announce that we are back in the building and Ms.Rose will be teaching the first class with the new & improved Playhouse Merced on December 13th! Classes are $45 and we hope you join us!

Hello everyone! I have some exciting news today! Ms.Rose is back to teaching some classes in collaboration with Playhouse Merced starting next week!
This first class will be hosted at the Kids Discovery Station! Can't wait to see you all there :)

We received word that there are good things happening at Playhouse Merced. One, they hired 2 additional staff members to help in the schools, so they can continue to fulfill their contact obligation to Merced City School District. Kudos to Marcelle for keeping the program going.

Two, they hired a bookkeeper, and they should finally see or hear an actual up-to-date financial report. Their goal is to be transparent with everyone with all monies that come into the theater. Everyone seemed thrilled about that.

Three, they are still dealing with things that prevent the conservatory classes from beginning, but they are still hopeful they will happen again.

We're so proud of the boards' efforts to help Playhouse continue to thrive. If you know one or all of them, take a moment on their social media pages to thank them. They have been through the wringer, but they are still standing.
