Today, April 18, 2025, the Honorable Chamandeep Johal was sworn in to serve as the 43rd judge of the County of Merced. She will be serving Merced County by presiding over Family Law matters starting Monday, April 21, 2025.

Judge Johal served as the first Treasurer of the Merced County Unity Bar in 2023. We are so proud to see another highly qualified and competent Unity Bar member enrich the bench with their expertise, representation, and commitment to justice!

Today’s meeting is canceled. The next meeting will tentatively be scheduled for meeting on March 13, 2025. Details to come soon.
