College for Kids starts next week!

There's still time to register for Merced College's College for Kids summer program. With sports camps, STEM activities, arts, and enrichment classes, there's something for every young learner.

This year, we're proud to celebrate 50 years of College for Kids and the impact it's had on generations of local students.

Merced College Student of the Year Taiquanijanique Bess is proving that it’s never too late to pursue your dreams.

A mother of seven, Bess returned to college determined to build a better future for her family while honoring the memory of her late sister and following the example of her mother, a registered nurse. Through perseverance, faith, and support from faculty and family, she earned multiple degrees and is now preparing for nursing school.
