We are the Computer Science Club at Merced College. The views, opinions, graphics, content, and creativity expressed here are not of Merced College.

Our meeting are held every Thursday at 12:30pm in V-113 on the Merced campus. We organize Science Fairs, run our own STEM-oriented website and offer free-lance website re-design to gain experience. We also go on field trips to colleges who may have programs we are interested in, as well as taking trips to conferences that get our attention. We've mentioned it before but here's the scoop, we're doing 23 Hours of Code with Code for Fresno and 59DaysOfCode!

Here's the details:

• It'll be a hackathon with two tracks, design and technical.

•The grand prize for each track is $500 and a year membership to The Hashtag!

•We'll have a kickoff Friday, September 20th at 6 PM in Bitwise Industries.

•The competition will run during DevFest, giving competitors a chance to talk to developers and even ask speakers for feedback. 🙂

•Max team size of 4, no projects in progress. 😉

Hello everyone! After joining Fresno State's hackathon on Feb. 23-24 or if you wanted to partake in one closer, UC Merced is having their 4th hackathon on March 1st-3rd.
There are two ways to participate at HackMerced either by volunteering or engaging on the hacking fun, or both! Just apply on the website to join. 😃
