Old HOF Racers never really quit. Some just take a 7 year break. Chowchilla’s Kodie Dean is ending his long boycott and will be returning to the clay oval bullring this Sunday. Kodie was one of the original sport mod racers back in 2013 to 2019. This time he will be behind the wheel of a Losi sprint.

Track opens at 10am qualifying starts at 11.
This is point race number two for the 360 and 410.
305 for the kids girl friends wives and any newbie RC racer.

Kevin Lockerby one and done in the Sport Mods.
Kevin sold his car before it hit the track, however the new owner said go ahead and run it. So what does he do? He goes out and takes the feature win. Defending sport mod track champ, Brett Surdich made him earn it. Both traded leads a number of time in the 40 non stop main event. It was by far one of the best races of 2026 by everyone. The only way to make the main event you had to win your heat race or the B main. 6 winners drove like winners. No crashing. Jack Shackelford finished up third just waiting for Kevin and Brett get into each other.

Tonight's races are scheduled for 7pm with hot laps commencing at 6. Krazy Kevin Lockerby pulls in at 3:15. Now you now why he has the nick name Krazy.

This Wednesday is our first point race of five for the mid week series. All Wednesday night under the lights racing. The original Traxxas T12 sport mods that have been racing for 11 years and the newest class the Losi 360 non wing sprints.
Best 4 out of 5 races count in case the wife says you can’t race one night or if you sucked. It won’t cost you in the point battle.
Reminder the Traxxas mods can race in the sport mod classes, just have to change the motor and ESC. Open gears on Hoosier or DE GT6 tires. You can still run the no grip stock TSM tires if you want to run in the back.

After setting out of racing game for 6 months, Vic Irvan will be making his return to HOF Raceway this Wednesday night. Vic has been on the sidelines due to receiving eye surgery over the winter. This may explain why he ran over Brett Surdich the last time out. He could not see. Now that he has his vision back, Vic will be able to see the other cars on the track that he hits.
Rumor has it with the return of Vic, Bad Brad may also be making a come back to the clay oval bullring.

Chowchilla’s Jesse Burks did not get a win today. But he got to take home a baby Turkey that showed up to watch some RC races.
Not sure where the hell the little guy came from, but we had to red flag a race to not hit him. Joe caught him to put him in a Losi 22s box to save his life. Jesse lives in the country and has a cage, so he won the bird.
