Steve Hilton is Grand Marshal at Madera Speedway — Saturday, September 26
This is the real California.
Not a press conference. Not a studio. The 53rd Annual Harvest Classic at Madera Speedway: dirt-under-the-nails racing, farm country, families in the stands, engines that shake the ground.
Gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton will serve as Grand Marshal. He’ll meet fans during the FanFest driver autograph session on the track and wave the green flag for the Madera 150 NASCAR/ARCA race. Super Modifieds, NCMA Sprint Cars, Legends — a double-header night that still looks like America.
Harvest Classic has always tied racing to agriculture. That’s the point. California’s working people, farmers, small-business owners, and race fans don’t need another lecture from Sacramento. They need someone who will actually show up where they live.
This is a true American event. Bring the kids. Bring a neighbor who still thinks “nothing ever changes.” Watch the green flag drop.

Never Forget.
September 11, 2001 — 25 years.
Today, the Merced County Republican Assembly pauses with our nation to remember the 2,977 lives stolen that morning at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in a Pennsylvania field. We remember the first responders who ran toward the fire. We remember the passengers of Flight 93 who fought back. We remember every family that still carries an empty chair.
A generation has grown up that never saw those towers fall. Our duty is to tell them the truth: America was attacked. Ordinary people became heroes. And freedom is never free.
We will not let the memory fade.
We will not let the meaning be rewritten.
We will honor the fallen by living as Americans who still believe this nation is worth defending one nation under God.
Pray for the families. Thank a first responder. Teach your children what happened.
Never Forget.

Happy Labor Day from the Merced County Republican Assembly.
Today we honor the people who actually keep California running — farm workers and orchard families, teachers, truckers, first responders, nurses, small-business owners, and every parent who works two jobs so their kids can have a shot.
That work ethic built this country. It is still here in Merced County.
What we will not celebrate is a government that makes that work harder: higher costs, more regulation, weaker schools, and policies that punish the people who show up.
This Labor Day, remember: opportunity is earned. Freedom is defended. California is still worth fighting for.
Stay. Work. Vote. Make California Golden Again.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Rally for Change has been Canceled — Help Us Fund the Fight Instead
The Rally for Change scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026 (5–9 pm, Merced Elks Lodge) is canceled.
After reviewing the calendar and the volume of voter outreach already underway, we chose to put 100% of our energy into GOTV rather than a ticketed indoor rally.
Ticket holders will receive a full refund.
Canceling the event does not mean we are slowing down. It means we are shifting every available hour and dollar into the work that actually changes Merced County: walking precincts, producing voter guides, supporting common-sense candidates, and getting ballots returned.
If you cannot volunteer this week and until last ballot has been counted, you can still help. A donation funds the materials and tools that make that outreach possible.

Take this to the polls.
Merced County Republican Assembly put this together so you don’t have to guess on November 3.
Print it. Screenshot it. Share it with your family, your church, your neighbors. Bring it when you vote.
NO on more borrowing, more taxes, more Sacramento control, and weaker recalls.
YES on Voter ID, protecting Prop 13, auditing special taxes, stopping new taxes on your savings, and cutting the red tape that keeps housing expensive.
This is how we start making California Golden Again — one informed vote at a time.
