Happy Easter everyone!! Over this weekend, we set out Easter eggs around our neighborhood parks/bike paths filled with handwritten notes with positive messages and inspirational quotes. Please be on the lookout for them! 🐣💝

Last weekend was our very first time holding a clothing drive for the people in need! It wouldn’t have been possible without the help of all the volunteers and the generous donors. Although it was predicted that it would rain heavily on Sunday, we were blessed that the sun continued to shine for that entire afternoon. After collecting around 50 bags of assorted clothing- socks, coats, shoes, and warm clothing for men, women, and children, we donated everything to the Catholic Charity located in downtown Merced. Our wish is that families in Merced will receive this warm clothing so that they have a warm and comfortable holiday season.🎄❤️

This year, we are organizing a Christmas clothing drive to help people in need. If you have any warm clothing items, especially socks, coats, and blankets, it would be greatly appreciated if you could drive by and donate! ❤️💚

This weekend, we volunteered at the 2nd annual Merced Halloween Street Bash at Joe Herb Park. We decorated our trunk to be Squid Game themed, dressed up as the characters, and provided a special game! We loved seeing the kids’ costumes and smiles when they received candy and took pictures with us! 🎃

We volunteered at the Mercado Night Market in Downtown Merced for Cinco de Mayo, and it was an amazing experience. We had a chance to see explore local vendors and learn about exuberant Mexican traditions.

This Saturday, we volunteered at the Joe Herb Community Cleanup. It was an amazing turnout- many enthusiastic community members volunteered, there were plenty of snacks and drinks donated, plus the barbecue at the end was delicious. Led by Birdi Olivarez-Kidwell, we cleaned the entire stretch along Motel Drive.

Thank you to all the kind, wonderful people who donated to our food drive this weekend. It was a pleasant surprise seeing Mayor Matthew Serratto, Josh Pedrozo, and Angel Barragan making generous contributions.

We had a great time with our friends while supporting the community, and together, we collected 482 pounds of non-perishable goods and $138 of monetary donations.

We’re looking forward to our future projects to spread our love and kindness throughout Merced!

Today, we successfully hosted our first Community Clean-Up along the Lake Road bike path and Richard Bernasconi Park. Together, we collected over 6 bags of trash.

Special thanks to everyone who helped volunteer to make Merced a healthier, cleaner community!
