My client made this bass from a cutting board that caught his eye. I totally get it. I see things everywhere that would look good as a bass😁

What’s in the shop today? Well, its a Gibson SG bass. This short scale beauty is kinda a paired down version of the old EB-3 basses. I strung it with some flats to give it that authentic vintage vibe. Very sweet bass!

Got a Sire PJ ash body with a thick poly finish just like back in the 70s. Sweet bass!

Kinda looks like a Tele that someone drilled a big hole in. This new Fender acoustic/electric steel string is completely hollow. Sounds amazing!

Here's a very cool custom Strat. Notable features are EMG electronics with the battery mounted in the spring cavity and a "dive bomb" route added giving extra room for the trem block.
