As this year comes to a close, I made that promise a while back to step away from music after 2025. I’m deeply grateful for 15 years of using the talent God gave me for His glory.
Over the years I went by many names including Vin Versa and V.i.N (Vision I Need), but Expository is the name that stayed with me from 2015 to 2025. It’s always been a hobby and I never intended to make it a career, yet I was humbled and blessed to perform at churches, coffee shops, venues and even in front of thousands of people in the Philippines.
Thank you all for the love and support throughout the years whether you listened to my music or showed up to watch me perform. It truly means more than you know.
This is officially the final track for Expository. I didn’t get the chance to release it on Spotify or Apple Music, so I felt it was best to make it free on Bandcamp. The song is called “Pray.” Hope you enjoy it. Link in the Bio!

Celebrating 14 years of making music and 10 years as Expository! A huge thank you to and for allowing me to do what I love and be a light to this generation through music for the last 8 years. It’s bittersweet, and I’ll definitely miss performing in front of you all, but I’m excited for the next chapter and where God will lead me beyond music 🤘🏽🙏🏽

After much prayer and reflection, I've decided that I will be stepping away from making music as Expository after 2025. I’ve been at this for nearly 14 years, and I’ve always viewed it as both a personal hobby and a way to express myself, as well as an evangelistic platform for God’s glory. I'm incredibly grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had to perform whether it was at coffee shops, churches, open mics, or even in front of thousands in the Philippines.
I truly believe that calling it quits from music will benefit me spiritually and give me the space I need to focus on my priorities and explore other passions. I'll do my best to release new music before the end of 2025, and I hope to do at least one more performance. Thank you all for the love and support over the years, and may God bless you all!
