Ikigai is a Japanese concept of reason for being, it is the combination of what you love, what the world needs, what you’re good at, and what you can be paid for- when all of these are combined the result is✨Ikigai✨

Have you ever wondered what your purpose in life is? Are you feeling lost or in a funk at your job? Come to this workshop and get aligned with your higher purpose! Participants will each get a blank Ikigai worksheet to complete during the class. There will be group discussions and brainstorming so be prepared to meet new people!

At the end of the class we will reflect on our new found individual “reason for being” and make a plan for how we can help each other achieve those goals! This workshop is led by local artist and Reach-For-Your-Dreams activist, Erica Qualy.

$10 suggested donation for ’s The Immigrant Pantry but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

A Midtown tradition, clearing of the ""BAMBOO"" 🎍 has taken two months and many labors 🥵 but we knew there was a sizable yard back there.

Here's process shots and the ultimate vision of a performance stage for readings, outdoor screenings, and concerts, plus seating for nice weather hangouts. 🌻🎸🎙️🎥 (beefy grown men for scale 😏)

And that old garage could be a workshop, coffee shop, lil bar, studio apartment ... ❓❔❓

Next up: a new fence with gate into the alley for your murals and scribbles and building that stage ..... Btw the recording studio is almost ready for prime time, who wants to do demos, workshop ideas, make music at Curio? DM us 🙏🏻⚡🤘🎛️🎚️
