The Faith, Advocacy & Religion Symposium has always been a space where faith leaders, advocates, organizers, scholars, artists, healers, and community members gather to learn, strategize, and build collective power. We recognize that financial barriers can prevent people from accessing spaces designed to strengthen movements and communities.

Through our scholarship program, we hope to make FARS 2026 more accessible to those committed to advancing justice, protecting humanity, and standing in sacred authority.

Theme: Protecting Humanity: Standing in Sacred Authority
In a time when human rights, bodily autonomy, democracy, truth, and collective well-being are under attack, we are seeking presenters, scholars, faith leaders, organizers, artists, healers, advocates, and visionaries prepared to help us imagine, build, and defend a more just future.
We are looking for bold conversations, practical strategies, emerging research, transformative storytelling, spiritual wisdom, and liberatory approaches that challenge us to move beyond awareness and into action.
If your work sits at the intersection of faith, justice, advocacy, culture, public health, human rights, policy, organizing, healing, or community transformation, we want to hear from you.

Call for Papers (CFP) — Faith, Advocacy & Religion Symposium 2026

Behind every program, every campaign, and every moment of impact, there are phenomenal people doing the work.
This month, we're proud to spotlight this remarkable woman who helps move our work forward every day.

Meet Dr. TaMara Campbell: Director of Programs & Leadership Development at SisterReach.
Dr. TaMara is a Clinical S*x Therapist, author, speaker, educator, and advocate with more than 30 years of experience advancing HIV awareness, harm reduction, reproductive health, and sexuality education.
Long before conversations about pleasure, sexuality, and reproductive justice became mainstream, Dr. TaMara was challenging stigma, expanding understanding, and helping people reclaim their wholeness. Her work is rooted in the belief that sexuality is not something to fear or hide, but a natural, sacred, and powerful part of the human experience.
From training faith leaders across denominations to authoring nine books and receiving national recognition for her contributions to HIV and reproductive justice, Dr. TaMara has dedicated her life to expanding access, fostering healing, and empowering communities.
A fierce advocate for dignity, truth, and liberation, she reminds us that culturally responsive care is not a luxury. It is a necessity.

Dr. Hankton is a licensed clinical psychologist, speaker, and founder of UNH Counseling Services, where she works to make mental health care more accessible, culturally responsive, and rooted in restoration. Known as a “Thriving Strategist,” her work helps women move from surviving to thriving with clarity, healing, and intention.
Through the lens of mental health, reproductive justice, and collective restoration, this conversation invites us to slow down, heal deeply, and reclaim our power.
