Saying goodbye is never easy, but today we celebrate a wonderful milestone. This afternoon, we held a retirement party for Jackie Vaughns Lott, who is leaving SRVS after 27 dedicated years of service.

"SRVS has been a big part of my life," Jacqueline shared. "I thank God for putting all of you in my life. Some people you meet for a season and some people you meet for a reason, and I thank God for the reason He has placed you all in my life."

Congratulations on 27 incredible years, Jackie! The entire SRVS family will miss you, and we wish you all the best in your retirement.

We're all about family at SRVS. Last weekend, our friends in the Rutland homes held their annual Family Day event. Throughout the day, individuals we support and their family enjoyed food, music and games.

Yesterday was a bittersweet day for the SRVS Kids staff. One of our students, who has been with us in our Early On and Play, Do, Learn programs since she was 9 months old, had her last day on Thursday. She’ll be starting kindergarten next month. Congratulations!

The children and teachers at our Play, Do, Learn preschool beat the summer heat with an outdoor pool party. Stay cool, kiddos!

Several residents from our Kirby Meadows home took a vacation of a lifetime - a cruise to Progreso and Cozumel, Mexico!

Our friends in the Douglass and Rutland homes recently took a day trip to the Tina Turner Museum and the Casey Jones Home & Railroad Museum.
