After an overnighter hosted by RedZone Ministries, the Melrose Golden Wildcats are ready.

Kickoff is in less than hour. Go mighty mighty Wildcats. It is so hard to be one.

Let's go Melrose Golden Wildcats (and other area schools). The road to the state championship runs through Martin, TN. 2 hours 40 minutes until kickoff.

The insecurities around food have heightened tremendously.

Fred L. Davis Memorial Food Pantry, in partnership with MyTown Miracles and Mid-South Food Bank. . .5 Years in. Thanks to the volunteers from Melrose High School, Christ Methodist Church, and Cbiz for helping to distribute food to families at a critical time of need.

Girls Night-In. . .an overnight of fun at RedZone Ministries. I hear that it was a precious time of growth and encouragement. I was not invited. Thanks to the volunteers who supported this activity with their time, talent, and treasure.

Yup. . .fall breakin at the roller rink with a few of our friends. Yeah, one of students dared me to put on the wheels and get on the rink. I accepted the challenge and showed them a few old school moves. That's me out there, the shadowy silhouette of a figure. I've not had on a pair of roller skates in over 20 years. Didn't fall once. . .praise God.

We had a great time. A couple of the students had their own skates. I was impressed. Thanks Cordova Skate Center for your hospitality.
