Have you ever wondered about the Kappa Delta behind the Corre Stegall Collegiate Leadership award? Corre Anding Stegall was National President of Kappa Delta from 1983-1989 and guided the sorority through the evolving needs of women through the 80s with vibrance, intelligence and integrity. It was because of her dedication to Kappa Delta that the Collegiate Leadership Award was named in honor of her in 1989. Nearly 40 years after her service as National President, Corre remains a devoted champion for Kappa Delta and deeply engaged with our sisterhood. She continues to invest in the next generation of leaders and personally celebrates each year’s award recipients!

Each year, Kappa Delta Foundation recognizes deserving sisters for high academic performance and exemplary leadership with this honor and a $5,000 scholarship.

As we wrap up Mental Health Awareness Month, we wanted to spotlight the Name Your Story program, funded by the KD Foundation’s generous donors, where members learn to recognize signs of stress, support one another and strengthen their mental health.
