Mysterious Strangers
Mysterious Strangers is a production team under the direction of E.J. Carter. The Memphis 48 Hour Film Project is one location out of many.
It is a competition (unlike the Memphis Fuel Film event) with the ultimate prize for the international winner being a screening at the Cannes Film Festival.
I created a closed group for this year's team. Message me if you want to join the team or if I didn't add you and should have. Thanks!
We are the first registered team for Memphis!!!

You know you guys want to do this :)
National Film Challenge Is On! The National Film Challenge is a timed filmmaking competition where filmmaking teams from around the world have just 3 days to make a short fiction film.
Just wanted to update everyone in case someone didn't hear about it. We ended up pitching The Phoenix at the trailer launch and even though it wasn't green lit (no shorts were) they offered to hook us up with an editor that can help put a trailer together. As soon as I know more I'll tell you :)
Post-production meeting in one hour!
Call for Entries | Oxford Film Festival The Oxford Film Festival opened submissions this week for the 2012 festival to be held Feb. 9-12. Submissions will be accepted through Oct. 1.

48HFP Update (Cont.): There are beautiful shots, wonderful acting, and an interesting story that will be able to move an audience emotionally - especially once Brian has time to do the music the way he wants. We are going to keep working on it and will continue to use the team page to update everyone.
48HFP Update: I know everyone is waiting to hear the final word. There is good and bad news. The film wasn't finished in time to get it to Little Rock in time to qualify. The good news part is that we aren't giving up on the film. With more time for editing and music it is going to be AMAZING.
