MEMPHIS is here at for her oncology appointment with Dr. Johnson. Everyone at the clinic is loving on her big time, because how can you not? Please send her positive vibes as we navigate this cancer journey.

The itty bitty pittie committee got to go visit Dr. Monica, Cindy, and all their friends at ! IZZY got her final exam and health certificate while MEMPHIS had her sutures removed. She is all healed up from her big surgery. Both girls acted like the angels they are and enjoyed their yummy cookies at the clinic.

“What do you mean no breakfast?” Princess GRACIE is less than thrilled about having to skip breakfast today. She’s on her way to her spay appointment. No more babies for Gracie!!

Parker is the total package to say the least. He is the perfect age (1 year), perfect size (47 lbs), 100% potty trained, 100% crate trained, and wants to be BFF with other pups from teeny to gigantic. He is the dream mix of playful and snuggly with a pure, kind soul. Parker keeps a smile on your face and is ready to make a lifetime of happy memories with his lucky forever family.

Happy Welcome Wednesday to GRACIE! Gracie joined the pack about a week ago after a fellow rescuer contacted us to see if we possibly had a foster home available. After meeting her and learning that she is amazing with dogs, kitties, AND very young children how could we say no? Gracie is 2 years old and 40 lbs of tricolored pocket perfection!

Sometimes in rescue doing what makes sense flies out the window and the overwhelming need to do what’s right to save a single special life takes over. Memphis is just that.

Memphis was surrendered by her owner to Memphis Animal Services and the stated reason was “owner’s health.” What about HER health?

This dog is said to be 14 years old, not spayed, heartworm positive, and has a tumor the size of a tennis ball in a tube sock hanging down from her abdomen on top of many other smaller masses.

I cannot imagine how uncomfortable it is walking with that weight swinging to and fro, pulling her delicate mammary tissue. How can someone let their companion get to this condition?

My heart just broke for her. I didn’t have time to think about not being able to afford taking on a dog like this. I just had to jump into action for her.
