🥫 It was great to join Dr. Monica Taylor of Delaware County Council, Rev. Christopher Heisey-Terrell, and the Loaves & Fishes team at Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry's 25th Anniversary Open House in Prospect Park, where I presented a citation recognizing this impressive milestone of service.

👏 Serving more than 1,400 residents each month, Loaves & Fishes has helped countless thousands of Delaware County neighbors access food and essential support over the past 25 years. Congratulations on this milestone!

📢 Friday, I joined my Delaware County colleagues in the House and Senate to present a $4 million state investment to Main Line Health to support expanded emergency care capacity serving Delaware County residents.

Since the collapse of Crozer Health caused by the private-equity firm Prospect Medical, Main Line Health and other regional providers have stepped up to care for thousands of additional patients. This investment will help Main Line Health to restore — and strengthen — the lifesaving care residents rely on.

👏 Thank you to Main Line Health CEO Ed Jimenez and Riddle President Jim Paradis, the healthcare professionals on the front lines, and everyone working every day to care for Delaware County residents.

♻️ Reminder! I am partnering with Rep. Jennifer O'Mara to host our fall Paper Shredding, E-Waste, and Drug Take Back Event at the Springfield Mall on the morning of Saturday, October 17.

✂️ Bring your old bills, bank and credit card statements, and other sensitive paperwork to be safely shredded.

🖨️ We will also be accepting most electronic waste (devices containing freon, batteries, and smoke or carbon monoxide detectors will NOT be accepted). Call (610) 544-6120 to register for e-waste returns (registration is required for e-waste).

💊 And, a 'Drug Take Back' van, operated by the Delaware County District Attorney's Office under DA Tanner Rouse, will be on hand for anyone wishing to safely dispose of unwanted, unused, or expired prescription medications. See you there!

🏛️ I was happy to welcome Grace Fitzgerald—Community Affairs Manager, NYC Council District 3—as our guest in Harrisburg yesterday. Grace spent the day shadowing me and my team for an inside look at the PA state legislative process. It was also interesting to learn about her work with NY City Council under Mayor Mamdani’s administration.
