📅If your calendar controls you … flip it. 🔄
Try this:
✅Block “Focus Time” daily
🚗Add travel buffers between meetings
⏱️Change default meeting lengths to 25 or 50 minutes (not 30/60)
These small tweaks deliver a massive productivity boost.
What does “24/7 monitoring” 💻🕵️ actually mean?
✔️Systems alert us automatically
✔️Updates install quietly
✔️Issues are handled early
The best IT support is the kind you don’t notice.
If your inbox has 8,000 unread emails, we’re not judging (okay, maybe a little 😅👀).
But here’s a 5-minute fix:
✔ Use “Rules” in Outlook or Gmail (Automatically sort newsletters into folders.)
✔ Use “Unsubscribe” (yes, it works).
✔ Block 2 daily email check times instead of reacting constantly.
Don't forget to delete an e-mail after you've read it unless it's important or you need to keep it for records!
Some people want oceanfront property. 🌊🌅
We just want:
❌No pop-ups
❌No red alerts
❌No mystery files on the desktop
That’s the dream.
Happy Tuesday! We're here with a handy tech tip for you!
We're all guilty of it- running multiple browser windows and tabs at the same time. But honestly? This really slows your processing speeds and your work flow!
How many browser tabs do *you* have open right now?
If it’s more than a few, let’s change that.
Here’s a simple fix:
✔ Use Tab Groups (Chrome & Edge)Right-click a tab → “Add tab to new group.”You can label them: “Accounting,” “Marketing,” “HR,” etc.
✔ Use OneTab (Free Extension)It collapses all open tabs into one clean list you can restore later.
✔ Bookmark folders for repeat workflows.
Your brain shouldn’t be your tab management system.
There’s a box somewhere in your office labeled “old cables.” There’s at least one retired laptop sitting in a drawer. And there’s probably a printer with a hard drive full of who-knows-what.
Most businesses plan how they buy technology. Very few plan how they retire it.
We put together a practical guide to cleaning up old devices the right way. Learn what to reuse, what to recycle and what to destroy to help ensure sensitive data doesn’t walk out the door with your discarded equipment.

26 goals for 2026
Goal 1: Test your backups (just once, we're not asking for much)
Goal 2: Enable MFA on literally everything (email, banking, that random app your kid loves)
Goal 3: Stop clicking "Remind me later" on updates (this one's hard, we know)
We could make 23 more goals, but if you do these 3, you're ahead of 80% of businesses.
Bonus Goal 4: Craft an IT disaster recovery plan (not just vibes)
Bonus Goal 5: Know who to call when something breaks (and it's not "that guy who left 3 months ago")
New year, same cyber threats. But at least now you have goals.
Make 2026 the year you're NOT the cautionary tale.
Ready to accomplish these goals? We can help. Call (541) 494-2099 for a free discovery call and we'll create a plan that works.
The password evolution nobody asked for but everyone needs:
Level 1: "It's fine, nobody's trying to hack ME"
Level 2: "I added a special character, I'm basically a hacker now"
Level 3: "I put my birth year in it, very secure"
Level 4: "Three random words + password manager + MFA because I'm not trying to be tomorrow's cybersecurity case study"
Your password doesn't need to be impossible to remember. It needs to be impossible to crack.
And no, YourDog2018! doesn't count.
Want to know if your team's password habits are putting you at risk? Let's talk. Book your free 10-minute discovery call at (541) 494-2099.
You'd never say: "Our sales strategy is hope."
So why does IT recovery get a free pass?
When nothing bad has happened, it feels like proof nothing bad WILL happen.
It isn't.
Every business that's had a long, scrambling, how-did-this-happen day said "we've been fine" the morning before.
Luck isn't a trend. It's just risk you haven't met yet.
Prepared businesses have:
✓ Recovery time in minutes, not hours
✓ Clear answers before the crisis hits
✓ Systems that work when they need them most
Unprepared businesses have hope.
And hope is not a strategy.

Red flags that email isn't from who you think it's from:
🚩 Your CEO suddenly texts like a teenager
🚩 "Urgent" "ASAP" "Don't ask questions"
🚩 They're asking for gift cards (???)
🚩 DocuSign request from [email protected]
🚩 Vendor's bank info "changed" via email
🚩Employee's direct deposit info "changed" via email
🚩 Your gut saying "this feels off"
Pro tip: Your CEO is not going to fire you for taking 30 seconds to verify a weird request.
Your CEO WILL be upset when you wire $50K to a scammer.
Before you click, send money, or share info:
Check the actual email address (not just the display name)
Call the person directly (don't use contact info from the email)
Ask yourself: "Am I being rushed?"
If yes → slow down, If no → verify anyway
Gift cards are for birthdays, not business expenses.
Want to train your team to spot these attacks? Book a discovery call at (541) 494-2099and we'll help.
