❓What: Diagonal Parking on the South side of the Street, 2 lanes of traffic going West, and Bike Lane on the North side of the Street (side we're located on) that goes both directions (so 2 lanes).
❓When: They took out the old set-up over the last couple of weeks; and the new diagonal parking was laid out just the other day!
❓Where: On West Main Street in Medford!
❓Why: The City of Medford listened to the complaints about the previous set-up, so they voted and passed this new parking style and implemented it very quickly!

🅿So please be patient as they finish painting the street, obey the speed limit and signs don't let that deter you from shopping at our AMAZING store! Be safe!✨

8:46 a.m. EDT the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. The attacks took less than two hours.

🇺🇸 25 years later, and we still feel the impact that Patriot Day leaves behind. Not just in the USA, but around the World.

🇺🇸May we never forget the nearly 3,000 lives lost; and the many heroes who's lives were risked or taken far too soon while saving more lives in the attacks on both the North & South World Trade Center towers, Pentagon, and Flight 93. May we continue to honor the fallen and the survivors.

🔨Did you know that Oregon became the first state to make Labor Day an official public holiday back in 1887 by passing it into law? New York was the first state to introduce a bill, but Oregon was the first to pass it into law. By the end of the same year Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York joined Oregon by passing their own laws by making Labor Day a holiday. Then by 1894, 23 more U.S. states were officially celebrating the Labor Day holiday.
⚙️On June 28, 1894 Congress passed an act recognizing the first Monday of September as Labor Day and making it an official federal holiday. The federal law, however, only made it a holiday for federal workers. As late as the 1930s, unions were encouraging workers to strike to make sure they got the day federal holiday off.
🔧Before it was a federal holiday, Labor Day was recognized by labor activists and individual states. After municipal ordinances were passed in 1885 and 1886, a movement developed to secure state legislation. Now, all U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and the United States territories have made Labor Day a statutory holiday.
