We said goodbye today to our lead guitarist, James Cates.

From Marc Wells , It is with a heavy heart that the remaining members of Fool's Forgiven say goodbye to James Cates (lead guitar). As the Heavenly gates open to welcome him in, we know that James is now jamming with our drummer, Jeff Lowery , and Relinda Laughlin (vocalist). James, until we see you again brother, Godspeed.

We would like to thank everyone who came out from family, friends, other bands, and to the fans! Love you all, and a special shout out to Susan Moses and Denise Lamb for helping put such a wonderful memorial together...Also, thank you Pastor Steve for opening your church for the event at Life Link Church in Grants Pass, Or! Relinda would have loved this send off for her to meet Our Heavenly Father! Love you all!

The memorial service for Relinda Laughlin will be at LifeLink Church, 2600 New Hope Rd, Grants Pass, OR 97527 on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 11:00 am. This will be a potluck so feel free to bring something, love you all! Made the music continue...

Our band mate Relinda Laughlin has went to be with the Lord, and our drummer Jeff Lowery...they are going to get the stage all set up for us as we start to arrive...Relinda, we miss you already, and you fought a good fight girl, we will always remember you and love you, Fools Forgiven

It is with both a heavy and a joyous heart that I write this. Our band mate Relinda Laughlin has been putting up a very strong fight for the last year and is slowing down rapidly. Relinda called me tonight to let me know that she loves me and that she is going to be ok in just a couple of days...she is ready to go home. It's been a rough year for our band this year and very emotional as we found our drummer after 5 years, and only found him in time for healing. Our band drove to Reno to be with him and a few short weeks later he was gone. Relinda was with us for that and she was already very sick, but made the trip. Relinda toured up and down as well as across the country as our backup vocalist and she always has had a great laugh to cheer others...although we know she is going to be with the Lord, we are still heartbroken, and we love her so much and cherish all of the memories of a band family...Re-Re, we love you and we are praying for the ease of pain...you always had an amazing voice...Please take a moment to listen to her as she was featured as lead on The Looking Glass. Re, thank you for helping us to achieve what everyone else said was impossible, you were a key member...
