This post has been so hard to publish, not because it doesn’t feel 100% right for me in this season, but because of how much I don’t want to let any of you down 🤍

The families I have met over the years is the best part of my photography journey and I am so grateful to call many of you friends!

With that said, I believe we all have the temptation to spread ourselves thin more than we should and I am especially guilty of that! I have been feeling a pull in my soul for some time to slow down, work less and be more still and present. It was only when I started studying the Sabbath that I realized that what I truly need (what we all need!) is intentional time to rest, enjoy our families, and spend slow time with God.

I will be stepping away from photography for a season. I don’t know how long that season will be, but I know that it is what I’m being led to do right now. I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to enter into the most important moments in your lives and to capture them for you.

In the meantime, I have some PHENOMENAL photographer friends that I would love for you to follow and consider booking for your upcoming photography needs! They are truly amazing people and artists.
