September was a fun one in the Disney neighborhood ✨

Hollywood Studios got a little love, we officially have dates for two of my favorite EPCOT festivals in 2027, there’s something new to check out on the BoardWalk, and the holidays are already starting to creep in.

My favorite of the bunch? Magic of Disney Animation. No surprise there. Be prepared for all my animation class drawings in November!

I'm sad I won't be at WDW this December for some of those great narrators but excited we plan to sneak away for a January Festival of the Arts weekend.🎨

What are you most excited about?

Our Disneyland trip took us by surprise.

We heard over and over again, “Don’t get your hopes up if you’re Disney World people.”

But here’s the truth… Disneyland surprised us in the best ways.

So when we looked back on our trip, I asked the crew one question:

What does Disneyland do better than Disney World?

And their answers were perfectly different.

And while Disneyland earned itself a VERY special place in our Disney-loving hearts…

Don’t worry, Disney World. You’re still home...even if you need to step up your churro game.

While I was on vacation, Disney sure was busy!

The D23 convention this month was a hot spot for all things Disney news. From new ports and magical lands on the horizon to seasonal favorites beginning, there was a little something for everyone in the Disney neighborhood this month.

And I came home with A LOT to catch up on. ✨

It’s Here! 🌺

Tomorrow we’re heading out on our biggest family adventure yet—Disneyland, Aulani, and a whole lot of celebrating in between.

While things will be quiet around here for the next two week, follow along on the fun in my Stories✨

Here’s to collecting memories like souvenirs!
See you in Paradise🌴

Hot off the presses... BYOM's July Wrap-Up. ✨

It was a quieter month for Walt Disney World news, with lots of looking ahead...

🍂 Ahead to fall fun.

🎄 Ahead to holiday celebrations filled with magic.

✨ Ahead to the memories waiting to be made in 2027.

Here's what families should have on their radar.

There are some trips you dream about for years.

This is one of ours.

We actually had this vacation planned back in 2021 to celebrate our 10th anniversary...and then COVID had other plans.

Back then, Owen and Cam were just 6 and 3.

Now they're almost 12 and 9, and it feels even better.

Old enough to surf. Old enough to ride everything together. Old enough to truly remember the memories we're making.

Over the next two weeks, we'll celebrate Ryan's 40th birthday, our 15th wedding anniversary, and both kids' August birthdays on what has become our biggest family adventure yet.

As much as I love planning vacations for other families, there's something really special about planning one for my own.

We've been dreaming about this one for a long time...and if I'm honest, the anticipation has me so excited I could burst. (as i'm tearing up writing this)

I'll be sharing pieces of the adventure along the way. 🌺✨

There's magic in the details. ✨

Around here...

No matter how many times I visit...
The castle still makes me pause.

She holds a whole lotta magic...
If you simply remember to look up.
