Ted White, the former editor of AMAZING STORIES and FANTASTIC, passed away on Sunday, May 24. He had been in and out of the hospital over the last month.

The guest-of-honor at PulpFest 2016, Ted, won the Hugo Award as Best Fan Writer in 1968. He was also nominated as Best Professional Editor or for Best Professional Magazine throughout most of the 1970s. In addition to these notable accomplishments, he was an accomplished author, editor, musician and music critic, and a leading science-fiction and pulp collector.
